Isaiah 8: 11 - For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying…
Consider this - For those of us who work out in the world with non-believers, it is easy to find yourself a little alienated. That is okay. God says that we are to stand out and be different and we should fight keep it that way. If our co-workers were asked about what kind of people we are, they should answer that we don't get involved in conversations that are improper. If they really pay attention they should answer that the motive for everything we do or say is goodness.
While it is difficult feeling left out and alienated, it is what sets us apart that makes us who we are and attracts people to us. Take a moment and ask yourself if there are times in your life that you allow yourself to conform to the world. If so take a moment and ask God to forgive you and give you strength to make an impact on people around you, not the other way around.
