A second Atlanta jail guard attacked

Officials say another Atlanta jail Guard has been assaulted by an inmate. 

The violent incident occurred in a court room and the City's Chief Judge is demanding action.  On Friday July 16, 2010 a jail corrections officer was attacked by an inmate after an inmate refused to obey a directive. 

On Wednesday July 28 2010 Atlanta Jail Officers and the union that represents them met to discuss safety issues and solutions and to share information regarding recent events at the jail involving officers and inmates.  The Chief judge said that on move that is being made is to buy a video court for first appearances to enhance security.
