Ohio to make third attempt at inmate's execution
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- Tuesday's execution of an Ohio inmate who killed his neighbor in 1994 will go forward.
The U.S. Supreme court says it will not delay the execution of Lawrence Reynolds, Jr.
Reynolds had asked the high court for a delay while he challenged Ohio's lethal injection procedure.
Last week, Reynolds' execution was delayed when he tried to kill himself by overdosing on pills.
An original execution date of October 8 was delayed amid a review of the state's death penalty procedures.
