Created to Do “Worthship”
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Now be mindful of what day this was. . . We were created on the SIXTH day. Six represents Man and the manifestation of evil and division, just falling short of completeness. We were created on the SIXTH day TWO X’s THREE Meaning “perfection Trinity times 2” indicating we are not perfect but short thereof, but with CHRIST we can find that completeness that we lack. This is why we were created to DO “Worship”. Or more lovingly referred to by us as WORTHSHIP” This is what brings us closer to our Father.
Romans 11:36 sums up nicely why we exist:
36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for
Psalms 95:1-6
1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. 3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. 4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. 5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
Hebrew definition of Worship:

Worship should be a total lifestyle, not just a time when we get together with the body of Christ and sing songs to God dance and clap our hands. It should be something that we do every minute of every day, and I would now like to share with you some of what the Lord has been revealing to me about why we worship.
Firstly, we were created to know, love and worship God. God made us the way we are for that very purpose. Why else would He have given us a voice? He certainly wouldn't have done it just so He could listen to us fight and squabble. Hands and fingers? Was it to point out shortcomings and inflict damage? No, they are to point to him showing the way and to clap praising and worshiping Him and to help your brother and sister up when in need. Your Feet, to stop and dance in worship of the lord. We were created, simply so that we could praise and worship Him. He desires us to worship Him and Him alone. He actively seeks true worshipers; people who will spend their lives worshiping Him and Him alone.
John 4:23
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Also, in Psalms 22:27 it says
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
This is repeated again in Psalms 66:4. It says:
All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.
We were chosen by Him as a royal priesthood to praise and worship Him.
I Peter 2:9 says:
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
MEN:
What kinds of example of Warriors of Worship are we setting? Are we worshiping in our homes, at our jobs, while driving, while playing with our children, while spending time with our spouses and loved ones? Are we tearing down those walls that are being built around us trying to block us from becoming complete in Christ so we may be the Priest of our homes that God intended? We are so close. . . Let us set aside Pride, being macho, ego and Worship Him who completes us. . .
Worship can be, and should be, incorporated into every aspect of our lives. Everything, absolutely EVERYTHING we do can be an act of worship, from weeding the garden to lifting our voices in praise and worship during a church meeting; from tucking our children in at night to cooking a meal for our family. The true basis of worship is the giving of ourselves, completely and utterly, to God.
